Our Purpose

·       The Goodness & Mercy Foundation was established in loving memory of our beloved mother, Chief Mrs. Mercy Udeochu, whose recent passing deeply impacted our lives and the communities she touched. As a devoted educator for over 40 years, she dedicated her life to nurturing minds and empowering students young and old, to reach their full potential. Beyond the realm of early education, she exemplified the values of compassion, integrity, and resilience, making a profound impact as a wife, mother of five, grandmother, family matriarch, social leader, and trailblazer in her community.

·       Chief Mrs. Mercy Udeochu was not just an educator but a compassionate provider who extended her care to those in need wherever she went. Her unwavering commitment to serving others, coupled with her innate ability to uplift and empower, inspired us to create the Goodness & Mercy Foundation. This foundation embodies her spirit of generosity and dedication to improving the lives of women, children, and families facing adversity.

·       Through the foundation, we continue our mommy's legacy by delivering tailored support and comprehensive resources that cater to the unique needs of communities in Los Angeles, CA, and Nigeria. We organize educational workshops, provide nutritional support, and promote holistic lifestyle improvements, fostering environments where families can thrive and achieve long-term stability. Her life’s mission was to give back to her hometown of Abiriba in Nigeria and Los Angeles, CA where she raised her family and devoted her career.

·       Chief Mrs. Mercy Udeochu's influence as a compassionate educator and community leader lives on through every initiative and partnership forged by the Goodness & Mercy Foundation. It was her lifelong mission to create an organization that would pour back into her communities, and as her children we will carry the torch and mission. We are committed to honoring her memory by continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, just as she did throughout her remarkable life.
